E-booklet on Job Placement for Autistic People

Autistic people often face barriers to employment and job placement due to a lack of adapted support systems and informed guidance. JobAut’s manual responds to this gap by providing job coaches and professionals with a structured framework to facilitate reflection on current processes and embed best practices.

This manual will compile the key findings from our project, including scoping reviews, cross-country analyses, and insights from our focus groups. Together, these form the basis of JobAut’s methodology and toolkit.

JobAut Coaching Methodology for Autistic People

This innovative, people-centered methodology is designed to assess the competences, skills, and aspirations of autistic people. Its goal is to improve job matching and provide individualised, meaningful, guided pathways into employment.

The methodology equips professionals – particularly those in Health and Social Care Services Systems (HSCSS) – with a structured and practical framework, and necessary skills to support autistic and neurodivergent adults in vocational settings. It specifically addresses the current lack of targeted training in job placement support within this sector.

JobAut toolkit for professionals

A practical resource aimed at trainers, job coaches, and employment support professionals. The toolkit includes concrete tools and actionable guidance to improve job placement outcomes for autistic people and support them in building independent and fulfilling lives.

JobAut e-learning platform

A user-friendly online platform that provides open access to the full JobAut methodology, toolkit, and training materials. Designed to enhance digital skills among job coaches, the platform features two learning paths: one for current and aspiring job coaches in HSCSS, and another for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of autism in the workplace.

By making these resources free and permanently available, this space ensures long-term impact and broad dissemination of the project’s outcomes.
